When I was a little girl I remember feeling very connected to nature and the miracles that lay within the Universe. I would daily see the beauty within even the smallest of miracles such as a flower blooming, sap trickling down the side of a maple tree, moss growing in the woods and the rustling of the wind in the trees. Each miracle mesmerized me as it unfolded. I was surround and uplifted by its magic.
As I grew older, the whispering bliss of nature seemed more elusive and day-to-day life invaded with a force I had never experienced before. So I began to shun nature’s gentle call and began to disconnect with the very thing that had once brought me complete and utter comfort. My world grew very dark and I questioned why I was even on this planet.
It was during one such questioning in 2004 that I was introduced to Reiki by a wonderful healer. The love within the energy of Reiki enveloped me and resonated deep within my soul to a cellular level. I can still recall to this day the transformation that took place that day. I went into the appointment feeling hopeless and I left feeling empowered, loved, comforted, and healed. From that day forward I knew that the Love I had felt during my Reiki session would always be a part of me.
Having had that beautiful experience with Reiki opened a spiritual awareness of nature and the Universe that I had always felt but never fully connected with. It re-connected me with my dear friend, Nature. My soul ‘awoke’ from a deep slumber and I literally fell in love with the Love I had felt during my Reiki session.
Being ‘in love’ opened a new world for me. I couldn’t wait to learn more about this incredible Love I had experienced. I felt giddy and light for the first time since childhood. And to my delight, the Universe responded to my newfound love by showering me with numerous resources. Eagerly I began simultaneously studying about the laws of attraction and other various metaphysical concepts.
My studies were exhilarating and compounded my desire to know more.
Logically, it made perfect sense to start off my ‘official’ schooling with taking a Reiki course. So in 2007 I began doing just that with Reiki Blessings Academy. I went on to take several more classes with my beloved teacher Dharmadevi, and in May of 2009, completed my Bachelor of Spiritual Healing degree and became a board certified Holistic Health Practitioner.
Having completed, what felt like, ‘that portion’ of my journey I began to ask ‘What’s my next step?’
The answer showed up in the most unexpected place. Channeling.
During the awakening of my soul, back in 2004, I had become conscious of the fact that I was a natural channel. I was curious and skeptical. My beliefs up until that point had been that channeling was available to everyone, but it was never my intent to channel. That gift was something that I had always felt was best provided by others, with a greater understanding of the process.
However, Spirit knew the journey of my soul and over the past few years continuously nudged me to be open to the gift. So, when I had the opportunity to take a channeling class with a beautiful soul and teacher, Laurel Bleadon-Maffei from Illuminating Souls, I jumped in with both feet. And have never looked back.
Channeling all of Source’s Loving Realms has brought abundant blessings into my life. It has seeped its way into every aspect of my life offering me a new and lighter perspective on virtually everything. A new peace and empowerment has been cultivated within me, and I find myself even more closely connected to Spirit, all of humanity, nature, myself and beyond.
I feel truly blessed to be a live, to be a part of the current growing movement of mankind’s transitioning into a natural state of health, personal empowerment and deep connection with Spirit.
